EMT Course
- Taught in-house by Excelsior’s Director of Education
- Offered a few times per year
- Open to current employees and prospective employees
- Format: hybrid, typically spanning 3–4 months
- Location varies by course offering
- Cost: free to those who complete the course
- In exchange, participants commit to working for Excelsior for a set period of time following completion
AEMT Course
- Taught in-house by Excelsior’s Director of Education
- Format: hybrid, typically spanning 3–4 months
- Offered a few times per year
- Open to current employees and prospective employees

Continuing Education Courses
Excelsior also offers free continuing education courses for current EMTs and paramedics:
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- NAEMT programs — Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
- Stop the Bleed™ Training, taught in-house to employees
Community CPR and Stop the Bleed Courses
- Excelsior also holds Community CPR and Stop the Bleed courses in various communities we serve
- These are free, one-day courses that run a few hours long
- Open to the public (not limited to current or prospective employees)
- Stop the Bleed™ is offered to the community occasionally, separate from the in-house employee training, as a roughly hour-long free class
